The Tiffan family settled down in the Villany wine region in the 1700's. Imre Tiffan and his son is the ninth generation involved in vinery and wine-making in their three pretty cellars in the three-storey historic row of cellars at Villánykövesd. Continuously improving their business established in 1992 they presently produce 40 000 - 50 000 bottles of wine annually. In their vinery the wine is produced by means of the traditional method symbolised by the registered trademark of Tiffán Traditionnel®. Their selection also includes the peculiar types of the region.
